A Day in the Life of a Service Manager
Working as an HVAC service manager can change daily. But the most important task Travis has is ensuring that his team is equipped with everything that they need to have a successful day.
This typically includes “doing a one-hour technical or customer service training in the morning (and) then providing support to our customers and technicians throughout the day”.
Supporting his team is important to Travis. He really enjoys helping his fellow technicians succeed. He also wants to provide “a genuine high level of service to our community”.
Travis knows that this team has done a good job when they receive five-star reviews and hit their goals. If the team does encounter difficulties on a job, Travis will gain insights and direction from his team to deal with the situation.
